Thankful Collection Cards

We received a moving note from Australian paper crafter Vania Franklin who has several friends and loved ones currently battling cancer and other illnesses. Vania shared how working with our Thankful Collection inspired her and she made the 4 cards pictured here to send off as encouragement. Thanks Vania - notes like yours move and inspire us.

We received this beautiful layout from Natalia Hailova who lives in Minsk,  Belarus in our in box a few weeks ago, and loved, loved, loved, how she used one of our older, Thankful patterned papers for these adorable pictures.

Thankful was originally released in 2008 as a collection "for anyone who has something to be thankful for". With part proceeds donated to breastcancer.org, the line was a very personal one for our company as Melissa had just completed her primary round of treatment for stage 3 breast cancer. While the collection is currently retired, there are still bits and pieces of it available at various online stores, and we still love seeing projects made with it as the collection was so deeply personal for our company.

Mona Pendleton sent us the following card which combines 3 of our current and past collections. The green paper is from our Thankful Collection, which debuted in 2008. The music paper (Octavia) is from our 5th Avenue 6x6 paper pad, and the collaged paper (Simone) on the bottom right of the card is from our Attic Treasures Collection. Way to show how versatile and inter-connected our papers can be Mona.

Over the past few months Mona Pendleton has sent us some beautiful creations which we have shared here on the MF blog, and this card is no exception. We absolutely love how she has pared one of our newest 5th Avenue papers with an 'oldie but goodie' patterned paper from our "Thankful" collection. Thanks Mona!
