A gorgeous wedding album

We always love seeing the projects our Melissa Frances customers around the world are making with our paper collections. Today, we are pleased to share with you an amazing wedding album from Russian scrapbooker Veda Bakalova.

She said:

I have been loving scrapbooking for four years now and all four years the paper of Melissa Frances has been my favorite. Each year, you surprise me and each new collection your launch inspires me more than the last! Thank you for the inspiration. I hope you will be interested in seeing the big wedding album I made ​​from your products. The finished album size  is 25 x 30 cm.

What we at Melissa Frances especially love about this project is how Veda combined papers from our "The Sweet Life", "Classic Elegance", "C'est la Vie", and "Attic Treasures" collections in her creation of this album. This is an example of how so many of our collections mix and match across their specific product lines!

"The Sweet Life" recipe book and card

Today we have some projects featuring our "The Sweet Life" collection, which was designed by the fabulous duo at "Everyday is a Holiday"!

Alyona-lilavadi Savinova is a paper crafter from Russia who wanted to share with us that she thought the new collection is "amazing" and then she showed us this beautiful recipe book (above) and a collection of cards. We'll show you one of the cards today, and invite you to come back tomorrow to see the other 2!



For this card, Alyona-lilavadi used our "Mixed Media Doodles" patterned paper for the 'cupcake' focal point of her card. This paper is really versitile as you can color the doodles with whichever colors work best for your project!

A picture is worth a thousand words mini album

Today's project comes to us from Sr. Creative Director Carolyn Peeler. She says:

I have been experimenting more and more with combining bookbinding techniques with scrapbooking supplies which has been a really fun exploration.

The album shown here uses the Melissa Frances "Classic Elegance" collection, which is one of my all time favorite collections in the whole wide world. We were right on point trendwise with this collection when it was released 18 months ago. The combination of pastels with the crispness of the black accents makes it such an eye catching collection of papers and embellishments.

I also used rubber stamps for the flowers (Stampin' Up!), postage mark (very old Melissa Frances) and the "A Picture is worth a thousand words" title (My Favorite Things Document it Stamp Set - which is one of my favorite stamp sets right now).

The inside of the album has a combination of scrapbook papers and vintage papers.

White & Cream Baptism Mini Alum

In September our Jewish friends celebrated their New Year, and once again the talented Israeli scrapbooker Ruthie Tzchory has shared a project she made to celebrate that special time of year. She says:

In September we celebrated our Jewish new year. Last year I sent you the cards I made using Melissa Frances products. This time I wanted to create something special, so I made a very unique mini album that welcomes our new year. The main blessing in the album is: "Shana Tova" witch means "A Good Year".

I think you'll agree that this album is a stunning piece of work, by a very talented designer.

Happy Quotes mini album

Today we have a lovely project from Sophia in Singapore to share with you. She says:

I love this wooden teapot shape and only need a few simple embellishments for it.
Did a mini book of happy quotes and it's held by the ribbon to the teapot.
To me , MF papers are great for altering as household display.

This gorgeous mini album showcases our 5th Avenue papers, Sweet Cherub resin accents (CX863) and Diamond Chandelier Drops (GN329).

C'est la Vie Mini Album

Typically we introduce a mini album base to coordinate with each paper collection we launch. For our C'est la Vie Collection, we designed a multimedia album which contains: 2 - 2mm chipboard covers measuring 6.5” x 6.25”, 6 double-sided inner pages measuring 6” x 6”, 1 vellum scalloped page measuring 6” x 6”, 2 vellum envelopes measuring 6” x 6”, 1 file envelope and 2 jump rings.

Today we have a gorgeous sample of this album in use. Sheila Rumney designed this project as a kit for the online shop The Scrappy Gourmet. While the kit is now sold out, Sheila's sample is truly drool-worthy.

At the CHA show we released 2 brand new pet mini albums. Borrowing their basic form from Baby Record books, our Dog and Cat albums make recording memories for your furry family member easy as can be! Containing 2 - 2mm chipboard covers measuring 6.25" x 6", 6 double-sided inside pages measuring 6" x 6", 2 vellum envelopes, 1 scalloped vellum page and 1 bankers envelope, all these albums need are your memories and photos to be complete!

Shabby Styled Baby Mini album

We have one of the most amazing, over-the-top shabby styled mini albums to share with you today. I'll let its designer, Sarah Bargo, tell you a little bit about this album:

I just wanted to share a mini album I made using 5th Avenue. This line is so beautiful! The soft colors were perfect for making a vintage looking baby book for my mom's baby pictures. I used a few accents that weren't Melissa Frances but not many, and included some pockets so she can add more pics and her birth announcement that she still has.
