Kathy Adams here today to share a series of three wood canvases using Art Anthology mediums and Melissa Frances Flea Market Finds Metal Appliques. I LOVE how the altered Appliques turned out and I made them the focal point of the canvases. I also used some vintage music paper and aged it a bit for the background.
To see how to alter the Flea Market finds check out the snap guide i created

The past few weeks have been busy ones for our warehouse as the "Classic Elegance" line began shipping to our retail partners.
We have also been busy preparing for the upcoming Create & Connect show (formerly the CHA Summer trade show) in Las Vegas. While Melissa Frances will NOT be exhibiting on the trade show floor, we will be participating in a multi-vendor extravaganza in Vegas on July 22st (the day before the Create & Connect show begins). All of our current customers should have received an invitation via the email we have on file. If you did not receive the invite and are interested in attending, please email [email protected] so that we can get the details sent your way. (While we appreciate our end consumers, this event is for trade/wholesale customers only. Thank you for your understanding.)
We are looking forward to launching a brand new paper line and extensions to our gift ware line at the extravaganza Event. And today is the day when we preview a few of our new items to you!
Our new paper line is called "Fright this Way" and is our very first Halloween collection. The line was designed by Alley Kat Cole, a new imprint at Melissa Frances.
The collection will have 6 double sided papers as seen below:
Of course, there are matching embellishments such as die cuts for this collection too!
The house ware/gift ware division of Melissa Frances will have a huge new release of products that add to our reproduction vintage product range. Items such as:
Our metal Number stencil sets (seen below) which come as a set of 10 and are 1.25" high, available in white or distressed metal.
Our brand new Trinket 4 tier display (seen below, left) takes its
inspiration from an old hardware store dispenser. It is a statement
making home decor piece, and quite large at 12" wide and 21" high when fully displayed. When not in
use, the display collapses to make storage or travel easy.
Taking their cue from antique French clocks, we have two new sets of enameled numbers (One set is seen above, right). Each piece is 1.25" wide and 1.5" high, and the product comes as a set of 10.
We will be adding to our fabric products with some new purses/bags and this new chair cover seen below. Our cloche collection will also get a large infusion of new products with several new styles, such as the ones seen below.
The last preview that we want to share with you is for our brand new Ribbon Dispenser. Made of metal and glass, with 10 - 1.25” wide compartments, our ribbon cabinet would make a lovely display in a home studio, shop or gift wrapping station.
These are just a small sampling of the items which will be launching this summer.
We encourage you to let your local store know that you have seen our sneak peeks and if you're interested in any items specifically, so that they are sure to bring them in for you.

We are excited to announce the launch of the Melissa Frances Home Decor and Giftware Collection! It has been a goal of Melissa's to add Decor and Giftware to her company as her background is in that industry.
Here is a little peek at some of her new products:
(Purse on the left/Tote on the right)
Our Brocant bags are soft, roomy, stylish and oh so feminine. Each bag comes with an adjustable strap so it can be worn cross-body or over the shoulder for maximum versatility. While the bag can be left exactly as is, the solid colors allow for creatively minded purchasers to alter and embellish it easily. All bags are available in Cream, White, Black, Soft Pink and Soft Aqua.
These adorable miniature hangers are a 'must-have' for vintage shabby lovers worldwide! Try using them to display postcards, altered art, wall hangings, mini quilts, and photos...the possibilities are endless! Hangers are available in 3 styles as seen in the image above, and each style is available in 3 sizes, 8", 6" and 4".
We hope you like this peek at a few of our new products!
