Hello everyone. It's Anna here. I have a question - how do You store flowers in Your craft space? I used to keep them in original packages but now I am just floaded with half empty foils.
I decided that it's time to organize my flowers in some other way. I didn't want to spend money so I used some old jars from my kitchen. But let's be honest - they didn't look nice in my brand new scraproom.
I decided to uplift them a little using gorgeus Melissa Frances products. I am going to make separate jars for each color of flowers and today I want to show You first two jars - white and pink.
I will create another ones but first I have to eat my pickled cucumbers :)
I wanted to see through my jars so O only embellished the upper part of the jar.
The white jars is delicate and soft. I used wooden keys painted with white gesso. I also added a resin oval frame and beautiful, little flowers.
For my pink jar I added a little mixed media touch. It looks more messy than the white one. I also used wood veneers, like butterflies and a gorgeus inscription with tree "Inspire". I coloured all with pink paints and mists. My composition was filled with tiny flowers.
I am going to create few more jars. They look so pretty filled with matching flowers.
Thank You for stopping by.
So pretty and much better than them locked away in little cellophane packages. Excellent idea!
