Two Fun Greeting Cards

Yesterday we shared two projects from Alyona-lilavadi Savinova with you, and today we have two more of her lovely cards to share with you.

Once again, she used our "The Sweet Life" Collection for both of these cards.

"The Sweet Life" recipe book and card

Today we have some projects featuring our "The Sweet Life" collection, which was designed by the fabulous duo at "Everyday is a Holiday"!

Alyona-lilavadi Savinova is a paper crafter from Russia who wanted to share with us that she thought the new collection is "amazing" and then she showed us this beautiful recipe book (above) and a collection of cards. We'll show you one of the cards today, and invite you to come back tomorrow to see the other 2!



For this card, Alyona-lilavadi used our "Mixed Media Doodles" patterned paper for the 'cupcake' focal point of her card. This paper is really versitile as you can color the doodles with whichever colors work best for your project!

A picture is worth a thousand words mini album

Today's project comes to us from Sr. Creative Director Carolyn Peeler. She says:

I have been experimenting more and more with combining bookbinding techniques with scrapbooking supplies which has been a really fun exploration.

The album shown here uses the Melissa Frances "Classic Elegance" collection, which is one of my all time favorite collections in the whole wide world. We were right on point trendwise with this collection when it was released 18 months ago. The combination of pastels with the crispness of the black accents makes it such an eye catching collection of papers and embellishments.

I also used rubber stamps for the flowers (Stampin' Up!), postage mark (very old Melissa Frances) and the "A Picture is worth a thousand words" title (My Favorite Things Document it Stamp Set - which is one of my favorite stamp sets right now).

The inside of the album has a combination of scrapbook papers and vintage papers.

Melissa Frances workshops in France!

We are pleased to share that Sr. Creative Director Carolyn Peeler will be traveling to France October 16-19 to teach at Version Scrap Lyon!

She will be teaching 4 wonderful workshops packed with Melissa Frances product. There will be bookbinding, wall hangings, and mini albums galore! Here's a peek at the fun Christmas mini album class she will be offering. Imagine how nice it will be to get a head start on your holiday scrapbooking...imagine having an album ready to go - all you will have to do is put your photos in!

As an added bonus, Carolyn speaks French, so for those of you who are nervous about taking a workshop with an English speaking teacher, Carolyn will be teaching in both English and French to accommodate students of either language!

A Wedding Keepsake

We hope you had a wonderful weekend. Today we have a really beautiful layout to share with you from Russian paper crafter Alyona-lilavadi Savinova.

She used papers from our discontinued 5th Avenue collection (while it is sold out many places, the specific paper Alyona used is still available here at scrapbook.com), and one of our resin accents to create a keepsake layout commemorating her wedding.

What a great way to display your wedding photo and remember the moment every time you pass by the project in your home!
