Halloween treat cups

As Halloween is swiftly approaching, we have a super cute Halloween project idea for you from Melissa Frances design team member Karin Aguirre.

While these cups pack a powerful, stylish punch, they are very simple to make. First, Karin painted the Melissa Frances treat cups with black acrylic paint. Once the black paint was dry, she glued glitter to the bottom pieces from the treat cups to add sparkle. After assembling the treat cups, she added a few Halloween embellishments to show off the theme.

Happy Birthday Card

Design Team member Anne Kristine made this beautiful Happy Birthday card using our "Classic Elegance" papers and embellishments. Our Classic Elegance Journalling Die cuts features the great "love, lots and lots of love..." die cut that is front and center on this card. No-Sew Shabby Pumpkins

(Supply List: All Melissa Frances supplies - Adopted Ancestors pattern paper, Filigree brooch, Floppy Blossom ribbon, Provincial applique, Jewel Buttons, 2 Layer Silk Ribbon, Tinsel • Non Melissa Frances supplies - Fabric, polyfill)

Today we have a sweet Fall project to share with you from our lovely design team member Rachel McAffee.

She has created an awesome tutorial that we are so happy to share with you! Here it is:

1. Cut out three 10"x 10" pieces of fabric in different colors and patterns.
   
2. Place a handful of polyfill in the center of each square.
3. Pull up the four ends of the square of fabric (pull them tight) and tie a ribbon around the top to secure it.
4. Embellish the pumpkins with floppy blossom ribbon, lace and trims.
5. Print out Halloween sentiments onto pattern paper and cut out into a tag shape. Ink around the edges for a distressed look.
6. Adorn pumpkins by attaching a brooch, jewel buttons and mini resin frames to each one.
7. Cut out photos of the Adopted Ancestor pattern paper sheet and glue to sticks. Cut out a small witch hat to add to the photo.

Halloween Workshop in San Diego

Description: Join Karin as she shows you how to make a “not so spooky” house using Melissa Frances chipboard houses. We will be using Glimmer Mist sprays to color our trees, glimmer glam and, of course, lots of glitter to make these adorable little houses. You will also learn embossing techniques. You will have your choice of the style of house. Kits will be available.

Please bring: Beacon 3 In 1 Advanced Craft Glue (available for purchase at the store) and scissors.
