Today we have a wonderful tutorial for you from long time design team member Melissa Phillips. She says:
Currently my most favorite Melissa Frances product is the Tissue Paper Garland. It has a way of making everything pretty and is so handy to have on hand. I love to use it in home decor projects and also on gift packaging. Today I'm sharing just a couple of ways I enjoy using it to dress up my packages.
1. Dress up a glassine bag by adhering a strip of Tissue Paper Garland across the top of the bag. Embellish it even more with patterned paper, die cuts, cardstock stickers, resin embellishments, and buttons.
2. Use a circular die cut and adhere the Tissue Paper Garland to the backside of the die and follow the curve. This allows the garland to peek out from underneath the die and creates instant and easy frills to dress up your package.
Another fun way to embellish your packaging is to add a touch of glitter. For this project I outlined the cardstock stickers with Stickles Silver glitter glue. It adds just a touch of shine and brings in a vintage feel to the already beautiful Melissa Frances products.
