We interrupt your regular programing to bring you something a little different. We know from the crafters we meet when teaching and exhibiting that there are many of you who have questions for Melissa. Such as where she gets her inspiration, how she started her business etc. So here's your chance. We are collecting Questions to submit to Melissa for her first Q&A post on the blog and would love to get you the answers you've been wanting to hear. So please leave your question(s) in the comments.
(BONUS:We will randomly draw the name of one commenter to receive a Vintage Posey Page Kit once they arrive in the warehouse mid-month.)
do you have plans of diversifying your products and venturing into other mediums like having your own line of fabric?

Hi Melissa! When I see what you create, I can't help thinking that you must be a garden person (and I imagine that you have a fabulous garden!). Are you?

Do you have any plans to bring more products to the UK I have found it almost impossible to buy products here and if I find them they are very old designs, I have been a huge fan for a long time and am desperate to get my inky paws on them...or any plans to open an online store which specialise in your products

Will you have any more of the chipboard houses?

Wondering if your house decor is soft and shabby with bits of vintage everywhere? I just love the look of your products!

How do you sort your scraps and ephemera? By color, by size? I'd love to see a picture of your "work" area.

How do you stay inspired, fresh and up to date? I love your style and can't wait to see all of your new creations.

Melissa -
First, I love the look of your products, they make me smile. I was wondering, do you have time to craft for fun anymore now that you have a successful business? Or has it become too much like work for you?

I simply adore all things Melissa Frances. I live in a *pink* Victorian home and love vintage and antiques, so your lines go so well throughout my home. I've made quite a few home decor items using Melissa Frances products and they make me smile each and every time I walk by them! I find it difficult to get my hands on the products that I'm searching for - the little boutique shops that I purchase from do not always have in stock what I might be looking for. Do you have any plans of starting an on-line store so that we may find all things Melissa Frances at any given time we are looking???

Have I been living under a rock? I've never heard of this company until today, and I am now your newest fan!! I love the softness of your products. I'll be looking online for a place to buy some Melissa Frances; I'm quite excited!!
My question: What is one of your first paper crafts that you have a picture of.... so we can see?

Your product line is so beautiful - I'm a HUGE fan. My question ... I'm wondering if your gift of art comes from a long line of artists in your family tree?

Are you married? How long and a bit about your love story? You seem so very romantic.

what inspires you mostly? is it your products or something else?

I'd love to know if you have any plans on designing a fabric line to coordinate with your various paper products and whether a MF fabric line would be profitable.

Oh, please - will you design a fabric line? I know it was already asked but I would love to know! Your designs are so beautiful!

Do you plan to ever have a monthly kit club?
Posted by: Shawnette | March 03, 2010 at 01:27 PM
Loving ALL Melissa Frances Products!!! I never get bored of them! Are there any plans of creating an online website exclusively for MF products!?!?!? A one-stop shop for all things MF! :)

Hi Melissa,
How did you come up with the designs for the beautiful vintage papers?
Did you draw them or use vintage images?
I love MF!!

Recently I went through you catalog. I am impressed. Life hasn't always been easy ( to be honest: quite tough)for you and you are still able to run a company and being an inspiration for a lot of us. Thank you Melissa!
I am a big fan and I just want to ask if there are plans for a main dealer of all your fabulous products here in The Netherlands ( Europe). It's difficult to buy your products here. And I can assure you; I am the first one to guy a LOT of all your beautiful products!
