GETTING TO KNOW LINDA...
Where were you born, and where do you currently live? I was born in a small town in Minnesota and I still live here--guess I'm sort of a homebody.
Tell us about your family: My husband David and I have 4 children; Jessi Marie age 28, Cole age 25, Luke age 23, and Cort age 12.
Pet Peeves: Clutter on a counter top or table.
Favorite Magazines: Better Homes & Gardens, Romantic Homes, and Country Living
Favorite Smells: Lily of the Valley, Babies wearing Johnson and Johnson baby lotion, Cinnamon, April Fresh Downey, and clean clothes hung outside to dry.
Favorite Movies or Books: Movies- Ever After and The Wedding Planner, Books- photo/scrapbook albums
What time do you wake up in the morning? 5:00 am
Favorite TV shows: If I watch TV, it's usually reruns like Reba, Fraiser, or Friends
Favorite Season: Spring
Do you collect anything? photos- old (of my ancestors) and current
When and how did you get into scrapbooking? Once I had my first child I knew that I needed to journal the memories that went along with the photos, so it's been about 28 years of some form of scrapping for me.
What music (if any) do you listen to while you scrap? I usually listen to my blog music at LindaAlbrecht.typepad.com , which has several different genres on the playlist.
How would you describe your scrapbooking style? distressed and homespun Where do you find inspiration? I'm inspired by lots of things: Home decor in magazines and on the internet, photos, nature, memories, etc.
Do you like to crop with others or scrap alone? Alone
How has scrapbooking changed your life? I have many connections and friends because of the design teams that I've worked on and it has given me a way to have a home based part time job. Also, I've went to several states to teach that I might not have ever visited.
What is one scrapbooking tool, you can't live without? As long as I have a scissors, I can scrap :-)
What format do you scrap? 12x12
Do you have any organization or time saving tips you could share? I like to put everything away in it's proper storage place between each project because I make a mess and pull out lots of things when I create. It would drive me crazy and interfere with my creativity if my space wasn't clear and clean when I started. I also store most of my product by manufacturer so that it's easy to create something for them without searching through all of my supplies.
What a beautiful banner! A lot of inspiration here for altered projects as well as card makers. Thanks for sharing.

I have yet to hear any about them hitting our local craft stores. Could you help a fellow addict out her and tell me where I can purchase some of Melissa's beatiful new paper products that are coming out. Your kindness would be appreciated in the matter.
Thanks girls. Stop teasing this addict.
