SCRAPBOOKING:
When and how did you get into scrapbooking? I purchased the first scrapbooking kit that was offered on QVC and a copy of Creating Keepsakes was included...I was hooked and it's been a crazy obsession ever since!
What is your favorite Melissa Frances Product?
Patterned papers! (always) I am a patterned paper hoarder!
What music (if any) do you listen to while you scrap? Sometimes I enjoy music and sometimes silence. Lately I've been listening to my itunes library a lot. I like almost all genres of music except for country. I have pretty eclectic music tastes.
What do you like to snack on while you scrap?
Nothing. I almost always have a glass of water and/or a Coke.
How would you describe your scrapbooking style?
Clean lines, detailed. I like embellishments and texture. :)
What is more important to you…getting the photos into albums, or indulging in creativity? Definitely indulging in creativity!
Where do you find inspiration?
Other scrapbookers for sure! I love checking out blogs and the internet for inspiration.
Do you like to crop with others or scrap alone? Usually alone.
How has scrapbooking changed your life? I definitely take photos that I might have otherwise have overlooked. I remember to write down funny and cute things my kids say because I want to make sure and scrapbook those memories.
What is one scrapbooking tool, you can't live without? Computer! (and my paper trimmer!)
What format do you scrap? (12x12, 8.5x11 etc)? 12x12
Which do you prefer? Scrapbook layouts, cards, altered projects? Layouts & Cards!
Do you have any organization or time saving tips you could share?
Clean up after each project. (I struggle with this myself but I am SO much more creative when I have a clean work surface!
