Q: Do you typically use sketches or do you 'freestyle' while scrapbooking?
A: I always start with a sketch. Always. However, I almost always veer away from the sketch! It just helps me to get started.
Q: What time of day are you most creative?
A: I only work when my son is napping or at school (2 mornings a week). I try not to work any other time. So, I have to force myself to be creative in that 3 hour window. :)
Q: Do you listen to music, watch TV or movies while you create?
A: I usually have the TV on for noise - I don't really watch it. Sometimes it is the Ellen Show and sometimes HGTV. Other times? Kenny Chesney on iTunes. And if my girls are scrapbooking with me, we listen to the Jonas Brothers, of course. :)
Q: What embellishment do you find yourself reaching for over and over again?
Buttons. And buttons. And more buttons! It is the perfect way to add a "handmade" touch to any project. I also like machine stitching and gems.
Q: You are called upon to create a large number of projects, what do you do to nurture you own creativity so that your well doesn't dry?
A: This is tough for me. I often feel my things look the same or are boring. When this happens, I reach for my sketch book and hope for some inspiration.
Great getting to know you Jennifer - I love buttons, stitching and gems too! Super sweet project you've made!

I adore your work and find it *so* inspiring, Jennifer! I found a copy of CK in a doc office once, saw your cards & tags and I was hooked!! Glad to see you on Melissa Frances blog.
