Let's face it...most of us scrapbook to record memories, but sometimes we get so caught up in the design of a layout and coming up with a catchy title, that we forget to list some of the facts. Why not make your journaling a part of the page design? I scrapped these fun pictures of my little niece yesterday, and I found some quick facts her mom had written down. I simply printed them off and cut each one into a strip and butterfly notched the end. The end result turned out great! I didn't have to spend too much time looking for embellishments to fill up the blank spaces of the layout...and sweet little Addilyn will always remember what she was like at four months old. So... here is the challenge... try creating a layout with the journaling as one of the main elements of the page. Use your embellishments as an accent and let the journaling and photos be the main focus! We can't wait to see what you come up with! Email us an image of your layout, and if you use Melissa Frances products somewhere on your layout, you could be featured on our website and even win a prize!!! Feel free to borrow my idea or come up with your own...I can't wait to see your layouts!
