This beautiful card comes to us from design team member Sherrie Siemens. She made this card for a My Favorite Things sketch challenge and we love how the products from My Favorite Things look great with our papers and embellishments.

The vintage look of the stamp set looks great with our Attic Treasures Vol. 3 products :) Sherrie added some of the paper fringe to the bottom of the card and swiped it with her vintage photo distress ink pad to give it a bit of age.

She colored up the sweet birds on the card with her Copic markers. BG70's and E51,35 for the birds and the E80's family for the nest.

As Mother's Day draws close, we have a beautiful card from design team member Rachel McAffee to share with you. Rachel used the Black Ice Brooch as an accent to her bow, but the cool thing is how the recipient can remove it from the greeting card and wear it after receiving the card. Don't ya love when your card contains a bonus gift!

Happy Birthday

Today we have a card from Michelle La Grue to share with you. She wrote us the sweetest note about it:

"I blogged a few cards, and the one with the resin piece was too nice to give away, so I have kept it, don't think anyone will appreciate such a pretty card like that, so had to make a few more!  Could not bare to think of the card and resin being put in the bin!"

Ah Michelle, I think that we've all been there with projects which we feel are too precious that you need to find just the right person who will appreciate it.

Butterfly card set

Lots of butterfly goodness here today. Design team member Sherrie Siemens paired up our Attic Treasures Vol. 3 papers and My Favorite Things stamps and Die-namics. The full supply list is at the bottom of the post.


Card #1
Sherrie cut the vellum with my butterfly Die-namic and then stamped the matching butterfly image in versacraft ink and embossed in white. She gave it a bit of color with  distress ink. Stamped the pretty butterfly sentiment and mounted on a white card base that she sewed.


Card #2
Here Sherrie die cut the front panel with her butterfly Die-namics and then laid another piece of patterned paper underneath. She sponged the edges before adhering the top layer. She sewed it to my card base using a very short zig-zag stitch on her sewing machine.


Card #3
Going with the whimsy of the patterned paper Sherrie die cut a bunch of little butterfly Die-namics. She sponged the edges of them for definition and then used glossy accents to adhere them to the patterned paper.

We hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend. Today we have a fabulous spring project from design team member Emeline Seet. She used the large envelope from our Large Envelope and Tag book as the base and embellished it by mixing papers from our Attic Treasures Vol. 3 with 5th Avenue. We love this paper combination!

Today we have a pretty, interactive greeting card to share with you from design team member Anne Kristine. She used our 5th Avenue Collection to create a shabby style card in a house shape. The cool thing is that the door on this card folds down and that is where the greeting for the card is hidden. Love it!

Hey girl, this one's for you

This pretty card from design team member Evgenia Petzer shows off our new Retro girl cardstock stickers along with our C'est la Vie paper Collection and rhinestone chain. This would be a great 'anytime' card for a friend.
