Hello everyone. It's Anna here. I have a question - how do You store flowers in Your craft space? I used to keep them in original packages but now I am just floaded with half empty foils.
I decided that it's time to organize my flowers in some other way. I didn't want to spend money so I used some old jars from my kitchen. But let's be honest - they didn't look nice in my brand new scraproom.
I decided to uplift them a little using gorgeus Melissa Frances products. I am going to make separate jars for each color of flowers and today I want to show You first two jars - white and pink.
I will create another ones but first I have to eat my pickled cucumbers :)
I wanted to see through my jars so O only embellished the upper part of the jar.
The white jars is delicate and soft. I used wooden keys painted with white gesso. I also added a resin oval frame and beautiful, little flowers.
For my pink jar I added a little mixed media touch. It looks more messy than the white one. I also used wood veneers, like butterflies and a gorgeus inscription with tree "Inspire". I coloured all with pink paints and mists. My composition was filled with tiny flowers.
I am going to create few more jars. They look so pretty filled with matching flowers.
Hello. It's Anna here with my another canvas. This time I recycled old canvas with an unsuccesful background in the main side. I just flipped it and used it as a frame. I had that idea od creating a gallery wall art look. Wooden frames in various sizes and shapes were just perfect for this kind of project. I painted them with Art Anthology paints and filled with picture and some paper scraps.
I also used some smaller wood veneers as an embellishments.
I used the film strip cutted in a half as a background element.
I also added this piece with heart inside with a piece of bow tied string.
And here is a cute, little pollaroid frame.
As You can see I went really crazy and wild with colors :) But that is how I like to create.
