Getting ready for CHA

Today our crew is busy setting up our booth for the CHA show. While they're hard at work, we can check out another new product from the Attic Treasures Vol. 3 Collection.

We love our newest alphabet stickers and think that you will too. We call them"Alphabits" because they are itty-bitty. Their aged neutral backgrounds perfectly coordinate with our paper collections and the fonts were chosen to infuse a timeless look to all sorts of paper projects. Sticker sheet measures 8.5" x 11" and contains 122 characters. Although it's difficult to see here, the stickers will be die cut.

New Attic Treasures Collection Vol. 3

More C'est la Vie

Thanks so much for all your kind comments yesterday. We are thrilled to hear that you love our new collection as much as we do. If you haven't already left a comment to have the chance to win some of this new collection, be sure to scroll down and leave a comment on this post.Today we are pleased to share with you a few of the embellishments that go with our new "C'est la Vie" paper collection.

First, we have our brand new banner stickers. Printed on cardstock weight paper, these stickers add a pretty touch to layouts and cards. See them in action on this great layout by design team member Evgenia Petzer.Evgenia combines our new Newsprint, Blessings, Un Billet and Vines & Blooms paper with the banner stickers as seen at right and our New banner borders. We especially love how Evgenia did such detailed cutting around the birds from the "Un Billet" paper so that she could add them to this layout.
Next, we have our newest cardstock stickers, in two different themes, Victorian and Diva:

Here is the retro set in use by design team member Rachel McAffee who combined red accents from our Deck the Halls Collection with the new Aqua Doily paper from the C'est la Vie Collection.

NEW C'est la Vie Collection launching at CHA

It is with great excitement that we begin to introduce the NEW Melissa Frances product launches for 2012. 

Over the next few days, we will be sharing with you our 2 new paper crafting Collections, along with the launch of a new division of our company. It is always exciting when we finally unveil what has been top secret for months. We hope that you enjoy our peeks - and be sure to read to the end as Melissa has kindly offered a blog giveaway with this post!

Today we would like to share with you our new Crafting Collection called "C'est la Vie" [definition: That’s Life]. 

C’est la Vie - Life doesn’t always go the way we want it to. We all face struggles and obstacles. It is how we handle them that defines us. This collection celebrates life in it’s imperfect, inherent messiness. Like our Thankful collection, these papers will have part proceeds donated to www.breastcancer.org, Melissa's charity of choice.

Thankful Collection Cards

We received a moving note from Australian paper crafter Vania Franklin who has several friends and loved ones currently battling cancer and other illnesses. Vania shared how working with our Thankful Collection inspired her and she made the 4 cards pictured here to send off as encouragement. Thanks Vania - notes like yours move and inspire us.

For those of you newer to the Melissa Frances brand, did you know that part proceeds of sales from every product in our Thankful Collection are donated to breastcancer.org - Melissa's charity of choice? Pretty cool, eh?

Shabby Styled Baby Mini album

We have one of the most amazing, over-the-top shabby styled mini albums to share with you today. I'll let its designer, Sarah Bargo, tell you a little bit about this album:

I just wanted to share a mini album I made using 5th Avenue. This line is so beautiful! The soft colors were perfect for making a vintage looking baby book for my mom's baby pictures. I used a few accents that weren't Melissa Frances but not many, and included some pockets so she can add more pics and her birth announcement that she still has.

I don't know about you, but this sweet card, (featuring our retired Hush a Bye Collection) and the reason behind it from Kristin Wilson brought a tear to my eye. Here's what Kristen says:

There is a very special card that I would love to share with you. It was made for my friend who recently gave birth to her first child, a baby boy. She suffered several miscarriages before this blessed birth. :) Knowing her struggles I wanted to make her something very special. In a sea of manufactures products that live in my studio there was no other choice than to use my Melissa Frances products. The soft subtle colors and shabby goodness were exactly what I was looking for. With out a sketch or any real idea in mind I just let the products inspire my creativity. This is the card that I came up with.

What a beautiful card Kristin. I'm sure that your friend really appreciated your support and love during such an important moment in her life.

Set of three 5th Avenue Greeting Cards

We received these gorgeous shabby cards from Ukrainian scrapbooker Tatsiana Klevitskaya, I think you'll agree that her cards are just delightful. Tatsiana used our popular 5th Avenue Collection products on all three of these cards. Thank you for sharing your talent with our readers Tatsiana.

Inspiring Attic Treausres Mini Album

This mini album from Monika Martinson features our discontinued Attic Treasures Mini Album as its base. I did a quick google search and it does look like there are some vendors who still have it available, so if Monika's sample inspires you, it can still be found.
